Seascapes
by Steve Bonner
“Over the years I have painted many, many, seascapes. As a one time yachtsman (is
there ever such a thing?) the sea and ships have always been close to my heart. Here
are just a few of my paintings.” - SB
‘Cluffs Bay’
SOLD
“This little painting is of a bay in the very north of Barbados. To reach the cove I’ve painted here involves clambering over ridges of razor sharp coral rocks. The first time I went there I trashed my sandals - the second time I wore boots!” - SB

‘Racing’
SOLD
This painting of gaff-rigged racing yachts was published by Medici as a Greetings Card. - SB

‘Into the rain’
AVAILABLE
A gaff-rigged Cutter beating into foul weather. It isn’t pure chance that I prefer to paint gaffers - the rig provides more of a challenge and makes a more appealing painting than Bermudan rig. I’m sorry I don’t have a higher res image of this and can’t show you a pop-up.”
