The New Work

 

This series of paintings came about in a curious fashion. I mentioned in the bio that I worked for many years as a Poster Artist. It just occurred to me that it might be huge fun to incorporate the graphic elements I once used to illustrate my Night Club posters in my oil paintings.

 

I think it’s worked. A fusion of the graphic with my usual style of oil painting.The paintings are bright, clean, with fabulous energy - and most importantly, they’re huge fun. Fun to paint and fun to look at!
